An oryx is a genus of four large antelope species, including the Scimitar oryx, Arabian oryx, Gemsbok, and Texas Scimbok. These animals are known for their long sharp pointed horns, and their ability to survive in arid and desert environments. The Arabian oryx, in particular, was once critically endangered but has been reintroduced in areas like Texas through conservation efforts
